
St. Clare's Home is a non-denominational, non-profit agency founded to empower homeless and/or abused women and their children to become independent and self-sufficient. Criteria for admittance into the St. Clare's Program is homelessness and women must have their children with them, be pregnant or have a child reunification plan in place.
St. Clare's Home provides a domestic violence emergency shelter, six group homes, our own day care center and an administrative counseling center with a state certified alcohol and drug recovery program. St. Clare's Program is a unique two year residential program with a three year after care program along with supportive services. Women attend classes and receive services on: Life Skills, Parenting, Healthcare and Nutrition, Budgeting and Finance, Domestic Violence and Child Abuse Education, Anger Management, Education and Career Guidance and Substance Abuse Rehabilitation and Recovery along with Group and Individual Counseling.
